Ink and Watercolor on Paper
This drawing is of a ceramic figure we own. This figure (and 2 others) were given to us as a gift in 1993 when we lived in St. Petersburg, Russia.
This piece is not signed, but is a modern version of a Dymkovo toy, molded painted clay figures of people and animals. It is one of the old Russian folk art traditions that still exists in the village of Dymkovo near Kirov (former Vyatka).
